The White Lion Hotel is set within the lovely market town of Wisbech, in the fens of Cambridgeshire. This charismatic Victorian building was built in the early 1800’s, sharing the breath taking views of the river Nene, and period buildings alongside the North Brink. Having recently changed ownership, we aim to make sure that our guests are comfortable, happy and satisfied with the service we provide. Offering a range of 16 En-suit room’s, including Self Catered Units, we hope to make sure we can provide the right room for all guest’s who wish to stay at our establishment. All rooms are equipped with tea and coffee facilities, flat screen televisions, Free Wi-Fi, riverside views in certain room’s & customary toiletries. The Self-Catering rooms have the additional benefits of its own kitchenette, with a microwave oven, toaster machine & fridge freezer to aid to the room’s comfort. A private guest bar is open every day, ensuring a relaxing and calm environment for guest’s who wish to visit. Furthermore, a lovely private beer garden is also available for guests to enjoy in their own peace and comfort. Our Breakfast menu aims to give our guests the perfect start to the day, with a variety of traditional options to choose from. The option to cater for different requirements upon request is also available. Onsite parking is available for both large and small vehicles. Should any local information be required, be it for attractions or business, our staff are at hand to help. Should it be regarding information to see Hunstanton (28.7 miles away) to enjoy the coast or alternatively visiting Sandringham Estate (20.2 miles away) we can help. Local train stations are March, Kings Lynn and Peterborough depending upon your destination, however all three run regular bus services to Wisbech Horse Fair Station which in turn is located 0.3 miles away from ourselves.
